Stomping the foot. Useful as a bass sound. Similar to the use of a kick drum in drum set playing.
Stomp with the full weight of the foot, with the foot parallel to the ground (lifting the foot off of the ground).
The material that is being stomped affects the sound. If outside on grass, a sheet of plywood can be placed down to give a stomping surface, although it will be high-pitched and weaker than inside a room.
